Principal's Message

Dear SWMS Parents,

I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to another exciting school year at South Warren Middle School. On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to extend a warm welcome to both new and returning families. We are thrilled to have your children as part of our Spartan community.

As we prepare to dive into the upcoming academic year, we invite you to attend our annual Open House event on 

August 4, 2026. To accommodate numbers and provide the best experience we will send out a sign up link for one of the two available sessions sometime next week.  We will have a session from 4:00-5:00 PM and 6:00-7:00 PM.  We just ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your session to complete registration forms for the first day of school.   This is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet our dedicated faculty, explore the school campus, and gain valuable insights about all of the opportunities that are available at South Warren Middle. Our teachers will be eagerly waiting to provide you with an overview of the curriculum, classroom expectations, and extracurricular activities that will enrich your child's learning experience. We believe that open communication between home and school is essential for your child's success, and we look forward to forging a strong partnership with you.  

To ensure a smooth start to the school year, we have compiled a comprehensive supply list for your child.  Click HERE to view the list of required school supplies by subject and grade level. The list includes items that will aid your child's learning and help create an engaging classroom environment. We kindly request that you review the list and make the necessary arrangements to acquire the required supplies before the first day of school. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the supply list, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

At South Warren Middle School, we are committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. Our dedicated team of educators is  passionate about providing a well-rounded education that promotes academic growth, character development, and critical thinking skills. We encourage you to actively engage in your child's education by attending parent-teacher conferences, participating in school events, and joining our PTSA. Together, we can create a strong network of support to help your child thrive.
